"Who is the most important person and the moment of our life that we should treasure the most!?"

I have heard a story today. I would like to share this story.
"Who is the most important person and the moment of our life that we should treasure the most!?" The story goes...

There was a king, who is trying to find out when is the most important moment of his life? and also who is the most important person in his life? Both of these questions bothered him for a long time, until one day, he decided to ask the people in his kingdom if they have the answer and will be handsomely rewarded for an answer, which can satisfy him.

Days after days, many people have tried to present their answer to the king but none could provide the answer that can satisfy the king. Not until one day, where a farmer came to the king and advise him to seek a wise old man, who lives a far distance from the palace. That man could provide the answer that the king has been looking for. The king has no choice but to seek that wise old man for the answer, which has been bothering him for a long time.

Before reaching the wise old man's place, the king disguised his identity as a normal citizen. At the wise old man place, the king asked, who is the most important person in my life? and when is the most important moment in my life? The old man did not answer but, instead ask the king to collect some woods for him to light up the fire. The king obligied and thought that this is to be done in exchange for his answer.

Three days passed, the king still did not get his answer from the old man. He is getting frustrated and intend to reveal his identity as the king. The wise old man answered, YES, i did reveal the answer to you on the first day when you came. The king is puzzled now. The old man goes on to explain... The best moment is life is NOW(present). And the person, who is important to you, is the person, who is sharing this moment with you.

From the story, we know that we can't change the past and we can't predict the future, we can only treasure the VERY moment which we have, which is NOW(present)! If we just let the present slip away that would be the past. We can only control the present and the best moment is the time, when you are sharing that with someone.

I hope that this story can let you understand the importance of present. Life is full of mysteries, no one knows what is going to happen next. What we can do now, is to enjoy the present!

Please feedback on your experience on this story!
Hope to see you again!

"DO POSITIVE"

Hi ALL,

I am back. Sorry, i was kept busy for awhile but that didn't keep me from remembering you. The best part about motivation is about being motivated, when you are least to be. What kept me from going on and on is the motivation that i have. This blog along with my very own motivation site gives me the strength to continue and to weather any toughness. I think that all it comes down to "what i am" and "what am i".

I was not a motivated person initially. I am moderately negative in thinking. I always tried to look at things in the bad ways. For example, almost after a difficult exam paper, i would have a feeling on what if i did not pass, would i be scolded by my parents, am i the one who did not pass in class and etc..?

Come to think of it, if not for those, it would have created me today. Whenever i got back my "difficult" exam papers, which i indeed passed, i would be so "HAPPY" as if i won a lottery then. That was how happy i was. If i did not feel negative at first, i might not be that happy after all, maybe just feeling that it might be quite normal to pass.

Initially, it is quite normal to "THINK NEGATIVELY" but one thing we need to do is to "DO POSITIVELY". When we carry out tasks positively, we will slowly grow a habit in doing. We will gradually be positive in thinking also. Because Action speaks and when we do things positively, our mind will gradually know that we have the ability to things positive. Ultimately, we are what we are doing. Like me, i do positive things. I think positive now too.

Grab your most important Treasures!

Time is passing by us in the seconds. If we don't grab it, it will be passing by us without us knowing. That is a sad part of life, we are growing old by the second without us knowing. What we know is that we are learning by the second, we are wiser by the second.

We cant grab time, we can grab water too. We need to treasure things that can pass us so fast and yet, we can't grab them. Those are the real treasure. Like the air, we can't grab them and they are important to our life.

GRAB what you can now! TREASURE them! OWN them! If possible, to SHARE them with the rest! - the best way to be noble is to share them.

Learn from the best but don't forget the others. They might have an experience which we can never know in this lifetime. For example, a rich man can never know how the life of a beggar. The rich man might not be as carefree and happy as the beggar in actual fact. Don't you think so?

Please feel free to comments. I would love to hear from you. You may comment on this blog, or drop us a email: help@selfmotivationtools.com, or visit us: http://www.selfmotivationtools.com and leave your comments.

Thanks, See you again

Overcome dreams and you can be a better person!

Do you like to watch cartoon? I like. Cartoon characters can do wonders in their own world but we can't.

In life, we can't do any miracles, except to pray for things to happen. We need to accept fate and facts as they are. For cartoon characters, they can twist and turn their bodies, have special magic powers, and other wonders, which we, human can only imagine that we can do. Come to think of it, we, human or rather the cartoonists, are the ones who give the cartoon characters the special abilities. We can only imagine of ourselves possessing such abilities, when we are dreaming at night.

In our dreams, we are the superheroes in our world. We can do whatever we want. Actually the dream reflects what we are experiencing during the day, may it be our stress or love. We can have a wonderful dream if we are in high spirits. We could be haunted in our dream, if we experience stress in work. Beware of your boss running behind you!!

Dreams are a good way to reflect our pressure, may it be good or bad. If we are able to overcome the obstacles in them, we will be able to be a better person. We will feel better after "killing" the moster. We will also feel better if we are able to tell our love ones things that we are not able to express easily during the day. To be able to overcome our fears, we can be a new "person". A new spirit.

Overcome your fears in your dreams and you can be a better person in real life. Believe in yourself.

Express your dreams here and post your comments to share with us. Also visit www.selfmotivationtools.com to seek further motivation needs.

Your opinions matter!

Hi,

In life, we face with a lot of situations(noticed that i did not say problems). Situations can be positively or negatively viewed. I will discuss with an example.

Let say, on a one fine day, You saw this bully, who always disturb you and make things difficult for you, walking down the street. Suddenly, he met an accident. You rushed over and see. He was covered with blood on the ground. How do you feel? Do you feel happy that the bully got his "punishment"? Or would you feel sad and pity him(although you still hate him)? Or would you feel that instantly, he should be forgiven on all his bad things done on you?

The above example continues. That bully has been diagnoised to be under a condition, which he don't remember the past. He is behaving like a new person and he is doing good things, instead of roaming around and making troubles. Now, would you like to be friends with him? Or do you still dislike him? Or still keep a distance, although you don't have any grudges anymore?

Remember that situations can change how a person thinks or response to somethings. From the above example, we can see that the bully was a guy, which will not be liked. After the accident, things might change. Opinions might change too. So keep an open mind and accept things positively. Internally in that bully's mind and heart, he might not be that bad at all...

No matter what that was, you can tell your experiences about a person to another person close to you. This can directly or indirectly affect his opinion or thinkings related to the person, whom you are referring to. Now think, would you like to give positive comments or negative feedbacks about a person, whom you don't like, or might like after certain situation occurred? Think about it and let me know your comments. As you know, your comments matter to the ones, whom you talk to and to us.

We would like to hear from you. Please comments on this blog or send a email to me: help@selfmotivationtools.com. Let us all hear your opinions. Remember that whatever you say or do can change the situations around you :) Be positive.

Not all bad things are un- motivated !!

Not all bad things are un- motivated!! - seems profound right?

I have been talking to a lot of people. I have also asked them a lot of things. I especially like to ask one particular question, or rather one of their opinion. That is: Which of the section in a normal newspaper would keep them motivated?

I heard a lot of them saying, sports because their favourite soccer player has scored a goal and they want to be like them. Some would say Financial Section because they can see their stock/share prices rise, they feel happy.

When i tell them what i like to read and what kept me motivated, they would just laugh at me. I guess not many people would read what i am going to tell you. I like the Obituary section. Surprised!?

Life and death are part of our life cycle. On the day that we were born, we are given life. When it is time for us to meet our destiny, we need to die. Why am i motivated about that? What keeps me going by reading that? Let me explain to you and believe me, you may feel the way i feel after reading what i have to say below.

Whenever i see a news article about a road accident, the next thing i know, he is around the same age as me. Do you know what i am thinking now? I would say that i am lucky. Surprised?? Sorry if i made someone feel sick and i have no intention to do that. I am also not a sadist!! But think again readers, don't you think that you are still fortunate that you are still here where you belong now? Imagine what were you doing while you saw this news. Imagine what your surroundings that you are at. Do you understand my rational?

Next, if i see a small children aged 2 on the Obituary, i believe you would have guessed what i am thinking.

Lastly, if i see someone, who is again on the Obituary section, what do you think i will be thinking? I would like to be like him, or more than him. I would like to outlive him. I would like to be as successful like him, if he is of some status.

In summary, nothing can stop you from being motivated, or at least not to demoralise you. Do you know that the attitude that you are showing can reflect on another person? I will leave this onto my next post.

If you have any other opinion, please feel free to post your comments or email to me: help@selfmotivationtools.com. I would be more than glad to hear your opinions.

The story of 2 lines... - the 2 lines theory

Dear Readers, Welcome back to my blog.

Glad to see you back here again. Today i have prepared a picture, which consisted of 2 lines. You might be wondering what do i mean by that? Am i trying to be funny? The answer is NO. I am going to present my own theory of the 2 lines.

Basically i would like you to do answer certain questions for yourself. Please don't be put off by them. I will make them fun :)

1) I believe you should be able to see a picture of 2 lines on the top? If possible, print that out and place it in front of you. Place the point "B" directly in front of you.

2) Then ask yourself these questions...

a) What do you see in this picture? What does the line represents? Something familiar to you?

b) What is your current occupation now? What is your age? What is your gender?

c) What are your future plans? What are your long term goals and short term goals?

d) If given a chance, would you like to move from point A to point B, or from point B to point A?

Please treat this as a small test to know yourself better. You may email to me: help@selfmotivationtools.com with the answers, i will provide to you a basic diagnoise of the person you are and your future path.

Please note that the above questions are the basics. There are more to them. But for a start, i would like to put you to think about it. If you are interested and really want to know the verdict to this 2 lines, continue to read on my blog. I will provide more in the subsequent posts.

Please visit www.selfmotivationtools.com for motivation tools.

Thanks for reading.
